Angelo's is a Texas tradition, known for its authentic Texas barbeque sandwiches and plates. Many patrons find the atmosphere of the restaurant as appealing as the food; walking into Angelo's feels like stepping into an inviting and comfortable hunting lodge that at one time featured saw-dust-covered floors, until restrictions ended that tradition. However, one can still walk in to greeted by a decor that features a string of bass, a bear, a buffalo, and other stuffed creatures; but it is the secret recipe of the barbeque sauce that beckons happy customers from near and far.
